Yeah its great to have a nw site at last. Even though its a bit of a plane muncher. Just have to build em stronger. We should be able to get a lot more DS action now

Really couldn't see much of the site from that video. Looked like a good DS spot from the little I could tell. I would love to fly there sometime being a grass covered hill!

Got a bit of video from the weekend. The conditions were hurricane force for us DS newbs. Jonos wind meter measured 65km/h at the top. But it felt more like 165, your beanie would start lifting off whenever you launched a model. It turns out that the backside of pukerua bay is a bit small for conditions like these, but we tried our hardest to survive a few consecutive laps lol.

Forecast just keeps building! 50mph average on the flat! Gusting 69! Never seen a forecast like that! COuld be WR conditions! DAMN DAMN DAMN I wish i had my K100

that would be unreal! Im gonna have a hard time getting used to the big winds when I get over there. I think I will have to reassess what I think of as a heavy plane before I go!
