As we proceed were looking for some more constructive opinions at this point. 2 - 2Kg metal gear servos in the center with 3 spread out hinges on each side.

Stab 1 and 2 only require new control surfaces but Stab 3 would need a new front stab mold, not a problem if that's what's needed.

by far I think #3 is the best aerodynamically and best looking, I think #1 and #2 the only real problem with them is the size of the elevator looks to be drastically increased, assuming the stab tips are stock length, well the more I look at 1 and 2 it does look like the tips were cut back to meet the elev so if thats the case they should all work good my order of preferance is 3,2,1 and 1 is growing on my the more I look at it lol!!

I was looking for the same answer, was going to guess at 70 inches, as I forgot the computation.

you didn't say v1 or v2 9305 but I would think 70mm is a good place to start

this is the FSA's for v2 9305 in mm's....this will get you close. if it were mine I would be going with 69mm

1 and 2 look viable. But 3 looks like you'll have to change the servo location because of the ele angle.
3 is definitely best looking in my book tho.

#1 & #2 have shorter tips.

Number 1 is exactly what I was suggesting shape wise and is what I sent to HET over a week ago. I also suggested cutting the tips of the Stab off completely, and running the elevators all the way out, they dont need to be as wide then. It will also match the wing which has no solid tips either.

Plus having a centre section will increase the overall rigidity of the elevator assembly and if the centre section is solid wood inside, extending out through both elevators as a one piece LE then there should be plenty of strength there for hinges and horns.
