BTW, is that the version Sniper #1?
From the look of the elevator I would say yes. Not version two.

And considering you have brakes and a completely rebuilt ele...I think the weight is pretty impressive.

I did rebuild the stab but I didn't add a lot of weight. I add two formers to the fuselage but they are very light one is 1.5mm plywood and a 2.5mm plywood ring at the end of the fuselage very light too. For the brake system Im using the jettronics air valve, this save some weight. Mpi wheels(very light). And my setup is 8s 5000mah. Using stumax rotor with alloy fan housing and Het 700-68-1400kv motor. I think setup is going to be enought power for it.

Maiden

Last sunday I had my first flight with the Sniper. Today I had a couple more flights. Very nice plane. Very stable and easy to fly. It's not a rocket but fast enough to make me happy... Landings with flaps are super slow and super easy. I didn't take video or pictures but for sure this weekend I will. Take some work to build. "It is not an ARF" but if you build it right is totally worth it.

Is that an optical illusion in your second pic of the fan install? Or is that intake way out of alignment?
