i dont think to many of us are gonna wanna go with a light setup on this bad boy, that would be like saying lets buy an electra and go with a low power setup..the reason for most sport jets, is that they are built to handle higher power setups, more so than a scale aircraft can

I know what you mean, it's like buying an old Chevelle and dropping a motor out of a VW Bug into it. I'm sure it will get you point A to point B, but it just doesn't have the same "feel" to it.

My 2800 watt setup does almost 9lbs of thrust. I think it'll be pretty fun to fly at 1:1.

Yea I've seen your vids. Looks like fun.
I'm doing intake splitters and new intake walls. Assorted odds and ends for strength and hopefully long life.
I'll post up pics when it's further along.

yeah, flew it about 25 times in 2.5 days. lots of rain flights, lots of touch and goes. lots of full power vertical dives

i know p richards has some video. i need to see ifi can get him to post it.

what i love about this jet is, i didnt even have to take a wrench to this model once. just plug and fly.

i even got it to do some flat spins, that was awesome! such a nice flying model!

I forgot all about this jet. I just tested out a Midi setup I have in another jet which puts out 3200 watts at 107 amps on 8s. I think it would be perfect in this. So these are good to go now?

If you're reffering to the new Stabilizer, they are coming with all new Sniper XL90's.
I know of several with the original Stab flying A-OK.
So yes, they have been good-to-go for some time now.

I just flew down to Tucson and picked up a new one for myself yesterday.
Now I gotta find time to sit down and build the thing!
