This is a sketch of the cooling set up, if i got it right the wiring i don't
know do to the 3 black wires coming out of the motors.

Thanks Kmot , what do you think about the wiring ?
The wires out of the esc are black red and blue
The 3 wires out of the motors are black

Basically you have to install them, program the ESC and see if they run in reverse. If you have the motor run in reverse simply swap two of the three wires around. There is no wrong or right way for reference on wiring these and it won't burn up the motor when doing this.

I understand about the cooling too so a pump would be a good idea no matter what. I also agree this setup does need gearing in order to help with run time and lower operating temperature.

The wires can go in any order. If the motor is turning in wrong direction just swap any two wires on the motor and it will go in other direction.
I just wanted to say you are doing a fantastic job building the donzi! It is beautiful!!!!!
I'm afraid that the motor choice might destroy all of your hard work. James should have given you lower kv motors around 600-700 out runner motors. They have more bottom end power. Just my two cents. Keep up the fantastic work. I am looking forward to the rest of the build.

Your water cooling schematic looks fine.

If you install water pumps, place them inline after the intake so that water is boosted before the motor.

Below is a picture of my water cooling pumps for reference. I think I mentioned these to you at the Christmas party. The pumps are in place but I don’t have them hooked up yet. I’ll be sure to post an update on them. For the Donzi all he needs is 1 or 2 at most. My cooling system is a bit extreme and is mostly for aesthetics for anyone wondering why I have 4 pumps...

I’m running these on a single servo controlled switch so that the system can be turned on/off on demand so that they don’t waste too much power. I will likely run those 2 minutes on, 2 minutes off, etc but enough to whisk away and manage the heat. I don’t know how much he could get away with that setup. They might need to be on all the time but having the pumps servo controlled should be helpful to prevent over discharging the batteries.

That's what I like about it all that detail it's complete very well done and no electronics I can do what I like will have to see I just bought another boat the fleet is very large at this point have to make room you never know
