Painful I know but could have much worse.

I envisaged busted legs and arms or worse.

Even lost sleep worrying last night.

Wow. Get well Dave! Sorry to hear work isn't the only thing that can suck about....umm...work. Really glad to know you'll be healed up and sloping again.

Just to keep this from being the get well soon thread...I'll be bringing two of the same of what Matin's bringing (even though he may not know it) and a few other goodies

Jim
Hopes Dave doesn't have to sneeze for about 6 months

Thanks all, I got the computer working in the hospital, looks like some seroius shed time coming up, maybe need a slopie strapped onto one back so next time when falling off roof should just be soaring fun. lol

Looks like the Raven is going to step up next then maybe a Manilla PSS

Good to read a report from you Dave so quickly after your accident! Hope you are on your feet soon.
What happened to the fine looking PSS model ( "T....something), that you had at Manilla last year and did not fly due to lack of wind? I would have like to see it fly.

Jim.

Hey Guys I just picked up a 100" Miri.
Had a bit of a search and found this thread.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1173739

It needs some minor repairs to the pod.

It has cracked just in front of the wings and a piece is missing.

I just put some PU Glue in the crack and missing part.

Wings and tailplane are excellent. Although the Horizontal stab doesn't look like it has ever been fitted, or the model flown.

The iron film is a bit wrinkled but that should be ok with the iron.

Some pics later if any one is interested.

Sorry to hear the about your wife Steve hope things work out alright and for Pope wish him a quick recovery and that he is to old to be running around a roof at his age.

Just waiting for flood waters to drop so I can get to town to get some food and do a few things Moree had quite a bit of water go through it and was isolated for a while and the mozzies are out in big numbers.

Adrian.
