Hey Jono,
Oldest trick in the book:
Pull you battery pack out. Snip the connector off in the middle if the lead. Crimp on a male Hitec connector to the battery pack and a female connector to the other half, to splice it back on.
Now you have a battery pack that you can charge outside of the TX with the same charger you charge your Rx packs with.

You're welcome!

Probably obvious, but should also be mentioned: cut each lead separately!!
(otherwise you will short circuit the pack).

There is an even easier way. Just cut the plastic cover off the female charge lead so the two pins are exposed. Now it fits into the hitec tx plug (and every other connector with the same pin pitch).

Matin,

The fun of having children is that you can make them wear whatever you want...or stick stuff on 'em....at least for a while....

Lucky buggers
I think the mountain claimed some more models.
Too windy for flat landers at Tamworth, where else would you want to be?
Road up has been worse with corrugations almost gone,

Yep, (only 1) I deposited a white speedo over the southern edge, had huge NWer and we started flying north of the sock, well Laurie tried 3 models that failed to penetrate, while I had quite a good time with the speedo, first landing approach was hot over the mat so going round seemed to see the breeze (? yeah right,) turn more north and I got stuck just back from the lip 50 feet up, and travelling south, with the nose facing NW, turbulent to boot.

well not to give up, (I was practising the bronze wing landing, but 15 feet is now out of the question, and) decided to dump it, only to find I had already gone past the mountain, and it went into the saddle area, probably near the south mat somewhere, but being a big hole to look in, we went back to flying others.

Laurie got his speedo sorted, I flew a 2 metre foamy vee tail, that I had taken a liking too at Campers. There was a big eagle that took no notice of us, musta been hungry, he had trouble penetrating too, half wing span to fly level into the breeze, didn't have a wind meter, but it was good enough for huge carbon birds, and giant PSS, I reckon.

Overall had a good time, went down to the landing area and looked back up, nothing obvious, I left town with the headlights on. Saturday may have been better, but Sunday was just perfect for flat landers. Top weekend,
Thanks Laurie.
