Hoy mismo no me pude aguantar volarlo afuera.
Saludos!

First thread was just getting very long. For those of us who have read the entire thing, we are still able to recall and find things. But for new comers, the info is buried deep. Therefore, Dafremen took the initiative to start and new one, and keep all the useful info in post #1. We're trying to get this thread STICKY, so that new comers could come and find the info quickly and easily. That's the motivation behind the 2nd thread.

I'd say, use the original thread for discussion. Use the 2nd thread (this one) to elevate mod and key info that should be included at the TOP.

Thanks, Pat. Great info. Xheli has been out of stock for the longest time. With it back in stock, does it mean that we now have a US seller?

For those in the UK, like me, here is a reputable seller with fast despatch.

Heliguy - http://www.heliguy.com/Electric-RC-H...liguy-Atom-FP/

Miracle mart, my ultimate favourite vendor, also stocks them but they're currently awaitily new stock.

I am getting ready to order a couple of these 9958's to keep my NE Solo Pro's company. We need lots of indoor toys for our long winters.

I used to live a bit farther north here in Canada where we had 6 months of winter followed by 6 months of poor sledding.

I would like to see a recommended spare parts list.

Also I would like to confirm if the black & yellow one is the fastest?

For my experience, the first 9958 (red) from FocalPrice is more aggressive than my second one from MyRcMart (black). Elevator servo endpoints are narrower, I don't know why...
I am waiting for the third (purple) from FocalPrice, guess another different behaviour...

A lot of the differences in flight characteristics between the red, black and purple 9958s can be attributed to different educational and cultural backgrounds.

Ok...spares list has been added. I didn't put the part numbers in because that's why we have a list.

If you have any recommendations as far as priority changes, or parts additions..feel free to advise.

P.S. New theory:

White heli - performance decreased by push of suns rays on reflective white surface.
Black heli - performance decreased by addition of sun's photons to absorptive black surface (slowly increasing weight.)
Purple heli - perfect balance of reflective AND absorptive..providing greater performance over the life of the heli.

PURPLE WINS.

(Did I mention that I ordered the purple heli for $20 from FP?)

But . . . but . . . but . . . Heli Pal promised me the black one is the fastest.

Now I will have the slowest one . . .

Beaten' by a one rotor two motor flying purple people eater. How embarrassing.
