I seriously doubt that. I prefer to stay on topic. I'm guilty of an occasional off topic post but my signal to noise ratio is very good. This is a general and not meant to be answered question to everyone...what's your signal to noise ratio? Just think about that before you post.

Did you do that flight with visual contact of the quad, or FPV?

What camera and what setting did you use? The video quality was very sharp and smooth.

Thanks.
Thanks U2

I try not to start any nonsense.
If someone mentions me in jest; I'll usually respond; but once or twice; and that's it.
In reviewing my posts, if it strikes me as too much off topic garbage, I delete it.
Goldsworthy picks up his trash too.
Can the rest of you say that?

Actually, there should be a ratio of contribution vs. wasting forum space.
It would be like the signal to noise ratio.

When I get asked the same question so many times that I have to post the answer in my blog, I think someone is wasting forum space.
And I'm not going to waste space with the same answer again and again...
And I also don't think we should be asked to do simple searching for a questioner...

No worries buddy. I will add that I have owened three Naza controlers as of now and a number of others two of the Naza's where non gps backed the latest is GPS backed. I will tell you from my passed exspirances with using non DJI ESC's everything from flashed to non flashed I had nothing but problems with the first two boards so bad so that one airship is MIA somewhere in Las Vegas along with some pretty pircey gear. The newest naza I said hell with it and went straight up stock DJI F450 30 AMP ESC's and DJI motors. It was a totally new concept it actually flew like a dream besides some PPM (sum) Graupner MX-20 radio problems and a one time flight that the aircraft locked into GPS Lock mode and did not come down till the battery gave out and fell from the sky. But other than that I am happy with the preformance. I will not be investing in of the after market flashed ESC's for any DJI FC boards.

Interesting.....did you discover why the ESC's caused such problems? I too would stick to standard DJI 30A but need 40A for larger motor/prop combo.

For what it is worth, i just put one together with Avroto m2814-11s and 12x 3.8 props on a Rusty 600 size frame and the DJI 30A don't seem to have any problems with the load. This is my first try with Naza and GPS and so far it is the best behaved multi i have.

My quad and gogro are now someplace in the swamp/pond outside my hotel. I know where it splashed down and I went in looking for it but it's too weedy and there is zero visibility. It's gone. Bye bye $1000+. Bye Bye.

Short story is quad started flying off in one direction and I couldn't get control. I switched to failsafe and it didn't recover. I switched off failsafe and tried to manuallt recover but it wasn't responding correctly, it was still trying to fly off in one direction till it splashed down.

Damn!! Terrible news... Was it under completly out of control, I mean, rolling and turning like crazy, or was it just going flat and stable while drifting? Was that a Naza?
Dude I'm sorry for that, we need to guess what happened so it doesn't happen again...
