I was not trying to discourage you from fixing your lipo.
Just be careful.
I'd still try to find the previous connection, but as Mauro says give it a try...

goldsworthy... HEAT, be careful with it. Use as little as possible that close to your lipo.

Thanks! I solderd the red wire to the red and the lippo is balance charging now. Thanks for the easy to understand directions!

This definely is the final check and test. Good soldering skills and no problem use it on leds, those use a very low amperage and it will take lots of hours to empty the battery.

Why would you need a balance charge for LED power? I have several old batteries that had no balance plug ever and after 4 years are still charging fine and powering some park flyers I have. They are loosing their pizazzz lately, but should after 4 years.

I balance charge ALL my lippos every charge every time no matter their use. Its a habit I got in to. I am sure there is no harm in doing so.

Make sure to post a video of it when you get it hooked up
