Okay. So from what I gather, on the DX7 you are using the Flight Mode switch for FLAP and Gear switch. Using both of them, you are getting a full range X2 movement. So what are you doing for IOC control? Don't you still wind up short one 3 position switch?

Hope this help other around with this setup that I did. Here bellow is my setup screen of my DX7. When flipping the Gear switch I have GPS-Fail Safe-Altitude Hold, then when I flip the Gear switch back I have Altitude Hold-Fail Safe-Manual.

Cheers,

I am using a Dx7S while my JR9503 is off for repair again. I have the mode on the Flap switch. I have the Gear switch set up for IOC, Off and Heading Lock. I set up the Aux2 switch for the mix to force RTH. I guess you could set up another mix and force the IOC to Home Lock. It works but it would be better to get an 8 channel Tx with at least one more 3 position switch.

Amazing video and you got balls, like they say if you have any failture your quad is gone.... I really enjoy it and you may think to sell this footage to the company of the ship so then can use for merchandise... Just a tip

Yes, I am thinking about switch from gear to another and the use gear to IOC. Don't really know if I ever going to use IOC but will try. Like I say before I am getting my GPS tonight and will see how it goes. I use my quad for FPV purpose.

Im getting 10 min flight aut of 2000mah
AUW 1.4KG
I am getting around 12min of hover time with my 3s 5000mHa with 3X9X5. Install a new OSD and now I can manege better my flight time. My AUW is around 1.750Kg. Thanks.

Amazing video! You have the eyes of an eagle if you are able to fly that far from the ship and still maintain orientation with a little 450!

Agreed! Especially when the ship is moving, so RTH is a kind of tricky, when the "home" position becomes a place somewhere in the ocean....
