Uncontrolled actions (moving forward without stick input and then moving back other times) is normally from RF interference. I spent more time this weekend testing RF interference and hope to make some videos about it soon.

I read that DJi is coming with an Update for NAZA.
Is there a chance that it might support Tricopters also?

I ran it about 9 minutes...

I try and stay short of the flat out drain to keep the battery as healthy as long as I can. I never run them for a total of 9 - 10 minutes (up and down time total not just flight time)
They are too expensive to ruin..lol

do you check your battery voltage after flight? I make sure mine don't get below 11.2 these days, that's about 10-15% left i think, to make sure i don't kill the batteries.

Ok, so is there a way to run the assistant without an account or creating one? If not, will it at least run after I log in once with an account even if I don't have internet access?

Question about Gains and remote gains via a dial.

I have my gains set as follows for my TBS Disco

Basic: pitch-165% Roll-134% Yaw-131% Vertical 179%
Remote adjust X1 X1 INH INH
Attitude gain 185% 173%
Remote adjust
X1 X1

Whenever I flip the gains switch in my TX this happens..

Basic: pitch-312% Roll-253% Yaw-131% Vertical 179%
Remote adjust X1 X1 INH INH
Attitude gain 351% 328%
Remote adjust
X1 X1

The quad hovers and shakes violently and nearly flipped itself until I flicked the gain switch back to off!

None of my dials on the TX make any difference with the gain switch on or off, and also in the Naza software turning dials does nothing switch on or off. Also all settings which are X1 when changed to X2 automaticly change strait back to X1. However they will change and stay on INH.

I have used the Turnigy ER9X template from Polakium engineering
http://polakiumengineering.org/?s=Er9x
(scroll down for settings on link)

All I'm trying to do is change my gains from my TX so the quad is more sluggish and smooth for video, instead it almost shakes itself it the sky

I am not familiar with your transmitter.
There are others here who will chime in if you tell us you are not as well...
Here is a basic transmitter programming logic sequence:
You presently have X1 on a channel controlled by a switch.
If it's a 2pos switch, you get what you're seeing. ( = off or whatever the other switch limit is set to.)
That's why your activated gains nearly double when you throw the switch.
If you want the X1 to be on a dial, you either need to change the channel X1 is on to a dial.
Or, you need to set up a mix so that the switch activates the dial you prefer.

This is how you'd do what you desire with almost any transmitter.
How you do it is transmitter specific.
If you don't follow me, go back to my second sentence.
Post that you need Turnigy ERX9 transmitter programming help, and wait for a reply.

From that link you posted, the tx was setup to have two sets of gains but with no adjustment. It says one setup is for low gains, while the other is for high and that is initiated with the toggle switch on the left. So, you need to figure out which channel your dial is on or learn how to program it to a channel, because it looks like in the link the tx is not even setup to use the dials.

Now, if X2 keeps changing back to X1 it sounds like X2 is unplugged or something, but again from your link, the tx was setup for X2 to enable Course Lock, so your going to have to again figure out which channel your other dial is on or program it to one.

So, basically you need to research how to program your Tx and verify all the dials and switches are corresponding to the assistant sliders with the props off before flying.

Thanks for the info guys, I might copy my profile on my TX so I can mess about it with and figure it out. I just don't get why the gains go up when the switch is flicked but the dial does not work.
