Hehe I'm glad someone appreciates my company

Thinking about making a quick Quadcopter "testing rig" before my next flight. Don't want to break anything else.

You can tie it up on strings between two chairs or whatever. Check my blog video on gains to see how I did it. Pretty quick and easy. Just make sure to quadruple knot it and be carefull.

Ed: If that's a reference to my whining about my recent heal crisis you'd better get your gloves on and be prepared to be beaten senseless with my walker!

Hej guys, question...
I need to change bearings in my DJI motors, they are strangely 4x8x4 and not 4x8x3 like most motor ball bearings...
Where can i buy them ?
I found some that cost 10$/piece but that is way to expensive.

Best Regards
Michael

Any way you can measure your current draw (or mA.h used per minute of hover)?
That made me think, so I weighed the props again. Plastic -8grams
Woodies -17 grams. 4x17=68. 4x8=32. 68-32=36grams They (the woodies) must be more efficient to be able to hover at less throttle% while adding 36 grams. Add to that the classy looks and they are a winner in my book.

I have on sitting in my water heater closet when I had my knee replaced last year. It was probably the most humiliating experience that I have ever had. "I don't need that, only old people need those." Whine, whine, whine. I got rid of it shortly after the surgery. Pete you are cool.

I put the ,quad in manual and set the last 3 points to the same number on the curve. 0-25-50-50-50 If it will hover at that number, I then lower it 2% for all 3 numbers. If it still hovers, I continue to lower it until it will not. I then raise it 1% for all 3 numbers and try again. This lets me find the minimum % that it will hover at. I do this test at exactly 11.4 volts in the battery so I can find out what my hover % is at the end of my flight (I time my flights so my batteries come in at 11.4 volts at the end of the flight). I know I could go a little longer, but this gives me a good safety margin and is very easy on the batteries which gives long life. Of course, if it won't hover at my 0-25-50-50-50 start point, I do the same thing but go up 2% and then 1%.
