True and the open LRS folks are getting 5 to 10km with 100mw. This is based on their work. For me, 5km would be plenty.

Nice vid! Where is it?
(Secretly I wish everyone would just drop the paranoia and at least list the state or country they are in. The location reference makes these videos way cooler for some reason)

Double cool!!
My Dad was born in Oslo and spent his first six years in Bergen before being moved with his family to British Columbia, Canada then here in Seattle.

Thanks for sharing, I can now stop trying to guess what mountains are in the background

It should be a requirement to post and verify your location.
If you're that paranoid, and won't, no posting for you...
I like to know if I'm communicating with someone who's native language is English.
I'm not prejudice. (But I'll not knowingly help the likes of a potential terriorist!)
I'm also just much more careful to be clear and not use slang or colloquialisms that might be confusing if they are not accustomed to English.
And, us Southerners (USA) do talk funny...
I also like knowing if it's someone who relates to the NAS according to FAA.
And, yes, it's nice to know you're looking at Alps and not Rockies...

I am using HK F30A with SimonK and no problems with Naza. The motors are HK NTM 28 series.

Where one is doesn't really tell you where you're from nor what your native language is and much less if you're a terrorist or not. But it is interesting to know where fellow posters are flying.

By the way, maidened my F450 with GPS properly today, and all went well. Tried the return home, and it did work very well, except soiling my trousers as I watched it go up, hang there coming over the landing spot, hang there again and slowly coming down for the landing. Really had to control myself not to touch the Tx and regain control Full control of a bird and eyes on it the whole time is wired into me from flying my aeroplanes.
