what exactly do you find scary about that?

I see a hammer hitting a nail square on the head. Mr. Paul is brilliant. Should the media give him the attention he merits he would stand a very real chance at the presidency. He is firm and unwaffleing in his beliefs, humble and believes in the constitution and what the intent of our country was originally. Principals and Ideals mind you that allowed us to rise to be the most powerful nation on earth. We are slowly losing that status as we slip further and further down the slippery slope.

What do you prefer? A pretty suite who claims to have all the answers and claims to be smart enough to see everything and control everything?

Which means I prefer the law contained within the Constitution, whereas Ron Paul would rather ignore it's separation of powers.

i think it's pretty clear which of the two of you wishes to ignore that, and it's not ron paul.

Sorry, I didn't realize that video was the entire interview. I thought it was just the part about offering friendship to Iran instead of sanctions. That was the scary part. And that is why the party for RP is over.

God Bless Ron Paul.

I love the guy and agree with him in principle on many issues....but not all of them. He would still be a huge improvement over what we have now.
On the other hand, so would our local dog catcher.

Sure, I accept the law as it has been constitutionally interpreted by the SCOTUS, and Ron Paul does not.

Funny... most of the left doesn't when it suits them. Say for instance when it comes to the right to bear arms.

The SCOTUS has spoken on that one, and even though we've had atrocious mass killings with firearms over the last few years, there is relatively little call for firearms bans.

Now, as to the right, well, conservatives against freedoms such as gay marriage and abortion are FAR more active, and have gotten far more legislation passed than any left group in the last decade. Gun rights have only gotten stronger, and abortion and gay marriage rights are being assaulted.
