I ordered mine today as well as a few others, Looks like we bought them all out in an hour or so. I got mine at 5:00am after getting a text from Vettster. So here is where will will start our build logs when they arrive. I didn't get the retracts and struts, By the time I found them they were gone. good luck everyone.

Notes, This was from the fist batch of kits. Your results may vary.
-The supplied clevises don't fit the supplied rods.
-Mounting area for nose gear needs to be beefed up a bit.
-CG successful first flights have been done with the CG set at 105mm from lead edge

Got mine as well. Also got the retracts and cockpit. Not sure what powersystem I will use. Has a wemo/arc 36/75/1 combo but not sure if the plane will handle the weight of 5000mah 8s.

I used HET 700-68-1500 with HET fan, running 8s-3300 packs. 5000 will be way too heavy.

Looks like I may be able to use these retracts if a swap out the nose for a main gear. I am currently using a set of these mains on a Habu and there holding up very well after about 30+ flights. I used the softer springs for that one. Right now I'm planning on the HET fan unless Changesun comes out with the 10 blade 90mm soon. I have the Changesun 70mm 10 blade I'm putting in a HP F-16.

I actually used one of those main strut as the nose, with E-Flite 15-25 e-retracts. I didn't think the smaller nose strut would handle the weight of this plane. And after seeing the abuse it's getting on landings, I am glad I didn't use the nose strut. If I had another main strut, I'd replace all 3 of them. Right now I am using the stock wires on E-Flite retracts on the main. About 20 some landings and so far so good.

Waiting for somebody to have the CMP stock struts in stock...

oooh subbing, really like the look of this jet but hk delivery/qc issues hold me back on big ticket items! (and the fact theres none in the aussie warehouse)

CMP makes a twin gear for the T-45 and air retracts. China Pro 09 makes the hawk retracts. They are almost identical to the HET ones shown above.

Well done all those who got their order in. Looking at the pic the air intakes look way over size. I would rather have smaller intakes and a cheater. Still a nice plane though

They're almost all too big nowadays. When I first saw a picture of a real hawk, I said the intake duct was too smal. Haha

Missed the first batch. I don't think anyone got it unless they had insider notice on this one (i.e. text message, etc.)...

By the looks of it there is probably enough demand that the second batch will be filled on back orders alone.

Can someone include links to the accessories you are ordering with the Hawk (i.e. Retracts, Struts, Custom canopy, etc)?

UK Time, sure.

Here in the states it was about 2-3 AM in the western states when it was released. I work very early in the morning so I was asleep. Unless you happened to be browsing the thread at that time, you (I) missed it

Should be at various warehouses soon, re-stock at HK warehouse should be pretty quick.

Brit here who also got his order in... ordered fan and servoless retracts earlier this year in anticipation of this one. Missed oleos and pilots... in fact, still not seen pilots to buy for this
