The thing is, CMP CLAIMS to be a manufacturer; not a distributor. That is one of the reasons you don't see price tags on the website. Rather they are bluffing or not, time will tell.

Why do you think HK is ripping them off. HK doesn't make the planes, Not even one of them. They secure a deal with manufactures to build them for HK. How do you know that part of the agreement wasn't to leave there name off of the item. We already have surmised long ago, that the HK Hawk is a CMP model. Does that make it any better or worse.

The reason I am saying that is the HK versions are heavy and have wrong features (wheel paints instead of retracts). I have done a comparison between the HK hawk and the China Pro 09 hawk, and bassed on the sizze of the hawk in the HK video, there is no way that they are the same plane. The China Pro hawk is smaller than the viper jet, but the one in the HK video is pretty big.

The China hawk is the same size as the Nitro T-45 and the HK hawk is suppose to be same plane as the T-45 with a different look. All 1220 mm long.

I said the REAL BAe hawk was the same dimensions as the REAL T-45 Gosshawk. The rc HK hawk looks more like a 1400mm length. Like I said earlier, for those to planes to be the same, then the HK hawk would have to be visibly smaller than the 90mm Viper Jet. The HK hawk appears to be substantially larger than the viper jet according to the video.

I wish Scott would get on here and post. He can tell us if he got it from them or not.

Just had a look at the china pro Hawk instruction pdf and it shows the T-45 hook placement wonder what the HK one will show many many striking similarities screwed on canopy easy mod to magnets and not fully sheeted wings both are things I would expect to different these days WOW what a coincidence .I have the Sapac t-45 even the sticker sheet has sapac on it but the uk importers call it top gun and say they don't know anything about sapac. love the scheme you have picked tho.

Well I hope we have better luck than the pilot who was in the XX262 (number on HK Hawk). He was a member of the Red Arrows display at Brighton England, he was inverted at about 50 ft when he hit the mast of a yacht which had sailed into the exclusion zone. He punched out and was picked up, aircraft was a total loss

XX263 is good to go tho.

I bet that th Hobbyking retracts are the same as China Pro 09 ones. If so, I will buy the L39 and strap the HK retracts on.

The CPM T-45 from Nitroplanes is THE SAME PLANE as the Hawk from Hobby King....No sense in doing a HK Hawk build thread when the T-45 build thread exists...
