Yes please! It's the photos that I really want. I believe I have all the plans, and I have started doing OCR on all the text I have, but what I do not have is good clear copies of the photos.

Your scanned pages are perfect for me. Would make my day if you said you felt like doing all the other chapters exactly like that. Then I can go through and replace all the photos with good copies.

Edit, just a note on scanning - don't want to seem too picky, but some of the photos at the moment show a watermark of the print from the other side of the page, showing through. Might be worth trying some other setting on your the scanner, or maybe using a black cover ontop of the paper, to try and cut down on this? Just a thought. Better to say that at the beginning than after a few days worth of scanning

Can do on the rest of the book. I see what you mean about the print from the other page showing through, I'll try some things. This and the SC 049 plans(its me AW), busy busy. I've got the whole of RCM&E from start to now, lots of Radio Modellers from the early 70's to the end, AMI, Model Flyer, Aeromodeller, Silent Flight, Flying Scale Models, Radio Control Model World, Electric Flight etc and lots of books, annuals pamphlets etc. Thought I'd get some of this stuff out there as I'm not getting any younger. Things may slow down a lot as one of my dogs is due to give birth to four pups in 10 days or so.

Some of those publications are still alive and kicking, so start with older stuff that is no longer available from the original source.

I look forward to the early RCME and Radio Modeller scans. There were certainly some interesting models done then but I've lost the majority of the magazines that I had in my travels. Best of luck with the dogs.

Copyright? Surely its only a problem if there is any financial gain involved?
Did have 5, GSD - he died from hemangiosarcoma aged 9 on 16/12/09, collie - he died from prostate cancer aged 11 on 1/7/12, tibetan terrier - he died 1/11/12 aged 12 from liver cancer. Just the two yorkies left. Bailey 6 year old dog and bella 41/2 year old pregnant bitch. She's just too big to be a tea cup yorkie @ 6lb. Bailey is over twice her size @ 13lb. Last scan showed 4 pups so we're a bit concerned comes the birth due to possible size of pups. So, off to the vets again Wednesdy morning. Hey Ho, got to spend the money somewhere. Dont need any more aeromodelling stuff my 5th bedroom/store is cramed and my 4th(hobby room) I can hardly move in there!

Hi Allan - small world, eh? That's great, if you can add scanning the book to your to-do list. As far as scan resolution goes, 300dpi is fine with me, that's all I need. Hope everything goes well.

It isn't really quite that simple but let's not go deeper into it.

Might as well add a fuzzy copy of a Seafire 47 scale drawing. Looks like it is made by Fred Spring of Australia. I believe he is no longer with us and I have not been able to locate a source for better quality copies.
