Thankfully, I no longer have to worry about this. I found a 2.3mm prop collet at the local rc store and I was able to push it on. The motor is now glued back inside, the fuselage has been glued together and all seams have been taped up with glass-fibre lined tape. Now I just need to grab some sandpaper at work so I can roughen up the CF rods before gluing them to the fuselage and whatnot. Should have this thing up and running in no time!

I have had my bix all setup for FPV for 3 days, but the weather has not cooperated at all! It's sunny now but winds are 20+ Hopefully tomorrow.

It's been like that here as well. Too windy for FPV. Did manage to get my other planes up yesterday with gusts to 30+mph. Quite challenging. Heading back out in the morning.

The Bixler loves the wind :-) Go on a slope and you don't even have to use any power... can be in the air for hours :-)

No slopes around here. You have those nice CALI winds out there.

First Post Crash FPV Flight - 4/13/2012 (4 min 44 sec)

First FPV flight since the crash and 1 month absence... My video RX was NOT this bad, my EZCap is messing up on the horizontal sync for some reason which I need to try to see what I can do to fix that. Also 15 to 20mph winds so it was a bit of a bumpy ride

Glad you were finally able to get it back up.

That must have been hard to fly with the video breaking up like that.

Unless that's normal for you.

It was just like that on recording, my live display was very crisp and clear the entire flight.

I posted on your youtube video about horizontal sync, I had a similar issue with my nova osd and easycap. Fix is to install a potentiometer/resistor on video wire between rx and easycap.

Hey mate, potentiometer info as requested. This is the one I used: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView...SUBCATID=968#1

But I would use a 500ohm pot for more precision: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView...SUBCATID=968#1

Very simple use a multimeter to find resistance and check wire order to find preferered direction of rotation.

Your only using 2 legs of the pot?

That's all you need. One wire in and one wire out.
