It's from Halfords (UK car warehouse type place) - their own-brand stuff (Volkswagen Red)

I sanded/scuffed the area for painting, and then used a 50/50 water-based polyurethane varnish/talc mix as a smoother layer before spraying. It dries in about 20min to touch, took about 2 good coats.

Talc is easier to mix, but for other stuff I have used 'Lite' spackle (or polyfilla) mixed in the same ratio with good results.

Only reason I didn't go with eagletree is because of all of the crazy components that go to it which add up to quite a sum of cash . I was seriously considering Dragon OSD but I have heard of a few issues + I don't like the idea of having to get a PPM encoder either (my RX doesn't have PPM output).

I chose FY31AP+Hornet OSD simply because it has the best reputation for being rock solid. Thus my 2 cents on it I have no experience with any of them to give any better insight.

Homemade FPV Pod

Had some spare time Saturday and made this FPV Pod with my 900 MHz unit (spare).
Can be powered by it's own battery or from the Flight battery's balance connector.

guy. Interesting video and choice of music.

Is the camera having issues? Looks fuzzy or out of focus around the outside of the picture.

Those smokestacks look like another power station. Smart idea to stay away from it.

There are several. You need to ask in the other thread.

Whats wrong with asking here? It's FPV and bixler specific?

I looked through the whole nova thread today (at work lol - slow day) and there are a few pics of bixler and a few posts about it, not a great deal. But if anyone had some more tips or whatever to do with the nova osd and bixler then id be grateful. Trying to put some knowledge in my head for preparation for when I get it.

Why do you think there will be something different with the bixler? It is a normal shape plane.

What I do know about the Nova OSD is that the infrared sensor board needs to be mounted where it is level and can see the ground... that is what I know about it .
