I also plane to use one battery to power the plane and video system, but I'm not exactly sure which filter to get.

Could someone possibly provide me with a link to a specific LC filter that I could use.

Thanks,

If you don't want to make one you can get this unit. I use this one as well as making my own in the past.

The fuse is not glued but taped together with fiber tape. I just maiden it a couple days ago without a crash. The motor prop and ESC combo works great and I need the two 2200 lipos in parallel all the way up front to get the CG right. I'll be posting build pics on my blog if anyone's interested in checking it out.

Here's the spec in my build and FPV equ:
SkySurferPRO FPV

Skysurfer Version 1 Portable with ACU Camo Armored Skin
Turnigy D2826/6 2200KV Motor
Readymade Outrunner Brushless Motor Mount for EasyStar/Sky Surfer
40Amp Birdie ESC with 50amp Burst
APC-E 7x4 Prop
9g Metal Gear Servos x6
2 Turnigy 30C 2200 mAh in parallel all the way in the front powering everything
FY-21AP and FY-117OSD
Futaba T10CHG 2.4G Transmitter
Orange FASST 8ch TFR8S Receiver
Weight: 1960 grams/4.3 lbs

FPV Gear
900 MHz Wireless Video Systems
900 MHz FM Wireless 500mw A/V Transmitter
Tiny 1” wide X 1.99” high X a very slim
.33” thick and weight is only 3/4 ounce
12 volts at 250mA
Ibcrazy DIY Vee Antenna mounted to the tail
GoPro Hero2 with video out to OSD

Ground station
This is still a work in progress.
Two 900 MHz receivers
RangeVideo Micro Diversity controller
Ibcrazy DIY BiQuad Antenna and an Omni Antenna
15in LCD TV
Head play goggles
SuperCircuits Portable DVR/Receiver with 2in display( it's an older one and looking to upgrade)
All mounted in 1550 Pelican Case

I LOVE this skin idea and makes the plane much better looking and durable for the rough terrain we have here in Colorado. Do you have more photos of the type of tape you used and how you applied it? Did it add allot of weight? I get my RMRC V1 Brushless combo this weekend and was going to paint it, but I like this idea better.

That's a cool bird, but 4.3lbs!!! I thought mine was heavy at 2lbs and my Himax 2815-2000kv was struggling a bit. I've since swapped that motor out for a 2815-3000kv with a 6.4e prop. I'll test it this weekend with all the weight.

First Sky Surfer Video

Here is my first published FPV video. I have only 3 FPV flight (attempts) including one costly crash. I am Taking off and landing LOS and using a spotter while trying to figure it all out.

Thanks to all on this forum for your info and answers.

Check it out.

Nice flight. My Sky Surfer is being delivered today! Is your COG off a bit? Seems like you where porpoising a bit. I like your pan tilt. I am doing the same with a mechanical head tracker soon.
