  • Overpriced: probably yes, on the other hand, it has few if any competitors when it comes to out-of-the-box flight performance.
  • Same cheap stuff: probably yes, particularly the underrated ESCs. But take note, the Su-35 comes from the same source (Freewing) and will have almost identical components or at least very similar components with comparable quality as the MiG.

As much as I love the Mig-29, there's just no way I'm getting it (Unless it's just the airframe)
  • The airframe-only version of the MiG is available (I bought it for 189 Euros), and it is very, very good (like an ARF except that the servos, ESCs, motors and fans aren't built-in yet).

I just hope it won't be the same price the Mig had.
Initial pricing in Europe appears to be about 85% of the MiGs price. The kit is a bit (5%) more than the MiG kit, as the Su-35 kit should come with the electronic landing gear.

HTH,
Henrik

Su-35 data sheet

Hi there,

here some data of the model, taken from ready2fly's forum thread (thanks!).
  • Wing span: 1080mm -> similar size like the Lanxiang MiG-29, bigger than the SebArt MiG-29 one; quite a bit bigger than the Freewing Su-34, which has 900mm
  • Length: 1630mm -> the Su-34 has 1450mm
  • Flying weight: 2700g -> oof
  • Counter-rotating 70mm fans -> aha!
  • 2x 50A ESCs -> sounds like too small, even with 6S motors
  • 2 x 2839-2200KV Brushless Motor
  • 9 x 9g Micro Servos, 2 x 17g Servos
Cheers,
Henrik

NS,

Weren't you the same person in the Freewing FA18E hornet thread telling us freewing isn't doing anymore new projects? And you know more than we know? But here you are saying they are making a new plane SU35?!?! Come on bro, if you don't have the facts don't spread word of mouth, there's already enough he said she said stuff going on. Or I guess you do know more, lol!

On another note this is a great looking plane and "IF" Freewing is making a new plane I will defiantly snatch 1 up...2 or 3! No ETA?

Probably at any dealer that has the Freewing Su-34 and Eurofighter, in otherwords, everywhere. The only problem: You'll have to wait .

Cheers,
Henrik

No comment on this.

Sometimes it is better to not tell to much you know to everyone you know..otherwise to outcome isn't as good as the surprise moment

Ok guys

Hendrik posted some details on the SU-35, now you know most of it already.
So here is the latest info from myself.

You have 3 different options.

1.You either can have it RTF, with everything included on the Jet, except the Battery.
2. You can have the Kit Version of the SU-35 as well, so only what comes with the Kit including the retracts.
3. These Color Schemes below will be available upon release for you guys to choose from:

The Prototype will arrive next week or the week after, once it arrives, more pictures will get released for you guys.

Prices?

Well for the RTF almost in the same region as the MIG-29 but around 40-60 Bucks cheaper.

PNP Version: 339 Euro
Kit Version: 199 Euro (Without anything but including the full retracts!)

Regards
NS.

Uhm excuse me but I am su-27 old school. Look at my avatar, 4 years ago flying the art-tech su-27 all day long. I have two of them.

I also have teh fly fly mig-29 with thrust vectoring for 3 years.

ITS MINE.

Ok I am also building a twin turbine su-27 from fie bao.

Take this jet, fiber glass it, put two het fans and two 2w-20 and it will a be little rocket brick. Thats the plan.

not a lot of su-27 out there. Grumania makes a good one but for twin 70 but for $900 air frame only they can stick it!

BTW my wife is also a BIG su-27 fan, she bought me my first su-27 for xmas. She also forced me to put thrust vectoring on my mig-29, nozzles shows up under the tree, I never asked for them.

So all of you have to get past her first. GOOD LUCK.

I built this for my my wife last xmas. It crashed on maiden, minor damage, it would not fly. I modded it for full flying stabs, I think I blame that. Will troubleshoot this winter.

I do the dame thing to this one.

No Problem with that.
I am just gonna seduce her and brainwash her that this Jet is actually a F-35 highly modified Version.

It comes in at 20kg's and thrust is at 14 kilos.

Thrust Vectoring can brake off very quickly and is not for the faint hearted.

In the end we just may tickle her.
