I am glad that you like the new announcement as much as I do.

Unfortunately there is not much more information on this SU-35 as of now, but I will be in close touch with Ready2Fly to bring you guys some updates.

We reckon the next information batch should come within the next 2-3 Weeks, maybe even earlier.

They put 1 Bird aside for me already, so I will be the first one to get my hands on it

Since this is still a prototype, changes may happen throughout the production process.

A bit sad that it does not have twin 90mm Fans, but that would be like a massive SU-35, burning through our skies

I'll try to get in some pics of the belly of the SU-35, some top views, battery compartment views and of course a closer look at the retracts.

I am sure this should not take that long to come out..I am guessing that it won't make it this year, it is a brand new announcement.

However you never know in the end.

That probably will not be necessary. Freewing also makes the SebArt MiG-29 which has counter-rotating 70mm fans. And according to some first impressions, the fans are cheap, but not that bad. For example I compared the stock SebArt fan+motor combination with Wemotecs with HET2W20 and - very roughly - the SebArts were not worse. So a) the fans are counter-rotating b) they are not so bad or maybe are even good c) they are cheap d) as a pair, they can take >= 1800 Watts of input power which is enough for a plane of this size e) Freewing makes them f) they are very light. So the Su-35 may have acceptable fans right from the start.

The biggest issue with the fan+motors in the SebArt is the very high current drawn (4S up to 130A). So a natural move would be to go to 6S and lower currents and update the Su-34 - as Freewing seems to have done...

The Sebart Mig-29 was a disappointment to me. It was overpriced for what it was and from what I heard, it contains the same cheap stuff we find in everyday EDFs. As much as I love the Mig-29, there's just no way I'm getting it (Unless it's just the airframe)

Now this is more like it. The Su-35bm is another one of my favorites and I have got to get this. I just hope it won't be the same price the Mig had.

This is how I think about foamies. I hate them!! I've sworn myself off of them!! Yet I love them!! And can't get enough of them when they make designs like this. They kill me with their cheap electronics and exploding fans and such. But they pull me in with their overall cool aircraft choices. Aaahhh!!! Save me.
