Flying wings

Well, always had a desire to try a flying wing like a Superfly or something. Found Amain having a sale on the Mini swift for $31 delivered (at least for the blue one I bought) so I could not resist. Might be actually a good combat plane, although a bit small. Should be fun and easy though given I already have all the equipment.

Anyone local flying the swift?

I had the Swift II. Great little flier; flies right out of your hand, has a good speed, and can just as easily be caught during landing.

My brother has one and gives it thumbs up. I have a wing warrior zippy and it rocks. Wings are a great change of pace and a blast to fly- you should love it.

I bought Jiggiba's mini-swift a while back as my first wing and now I have gone wing crazy!

I have had the mini swift, two stryker-q's, 48 inch EleBee, 100 inch Queen Bee, and cant wait for more. You will get hooked. I will recommend stiffer pushrods than 4-40 when exceeding 77 mph (ask me how I know)

Here are some shots, the good pics were shot by WebDr.

So were you the one who bought Landon's Queen bee? I saw that fly a few times. Very big.

I love it, flew it as a EDF for a bit till I smoked the motor, retaped, and now is being reconfigured as a long range FPV ship swinging a 16.5 inch folder with a Scorpion 4025-12

The Blue I found very difficult to see at distance and I lost orientation more than once... and had to get some guys to climb through the woods. I have since changed to yellow top/ red bottom and find it much more visible.

Just got my first wing 2 weeks ago. I got the Mini Bee from Windrider. Got about 6 flights on it now. Last night was the best so far. They fly very different. Takes some getting used to.

Looks good. Could not resist it. I ordered a green one. We will have a wing fly at the field.

Heres my 80" Zephyr doing the first run up. I'd dare say it has enough power for unlimited vertical

For sure. I plan to build mine as soon as it arrives as it should be a quick build. Everyone seems to rave about this one in the forums so I'm guessing it's a good one.

It does have a very clean sound though. Clearly a nicely mounted and balanced power system.
