Gone with the wind

Nice looking, but not flying good. This leads to "end of lifecycle"... Let's go to new projects.

Hi Cassiotk,

I love The Corsair! Yours looks really great! Especially the wing. All plane very nicely detailed.

1. What do You mean, You've changed the wing?

2. Could You write something about how it flies?

3. What set up did You use?

P.S.
Change the wheels! Have You been thinking about something more "in scale"?
Your model deserves it.
P.P.S
I'm building 144cm wingspan Corsair basing on these plans. 90% already done.
Just covering the fuselage now.

Hi Corsair79,

1. I remade the wing plan using the scale size.
2. The plane flies very well, but a bit nervous.
3. I use a turnigy 2836/8 with a 9x6 prop. Esc 30amps and 3s2200

And i changed the landing gears
You can see ali construction on http://www.e-voo.com/forum/viewtopic...045&highlight=

Thx

Hi,
thanks for answers. New wheels - much, much better!
Your Corsair looks a bit nervy, indeed. Maybe adjusting CG would help?

I didn"t realize that the "from plans" wing is so much off scale. Yours looks veeery nice!.
I trusted the plans and focused all attention on details. Shame on me, cause the difference between wings is so apparent! I"m gonna fixed it up althought the flaps are already done. I think I will move the ailerons trailing adge back to widen the wing tips.

Thanks once more and gratulations!
