I love me some power tools, but in the case of spinner trimming, it's just to easy with a hobby knife to bother with them.

Have you ever seen the movie "The worlds fastest Indian", where Burt Munro, (played by Anthony Hopkins) is sitting on a chair grinding his toenails with a grinder? Funny, but kind of gross too....

I usually end up doing more damage to myself with an Exacto knife than I do with a Dremel tool. Many years ago, (back in the stone age), I was trimming a clear plastic body for a slot car, and split my right thumb all the way to the bone, but as the blade was brand new, I didn't even realize it until I saw blood all over the place....

The 72" Extra should come with one made for it.

I imagine the next gen will (v2?), but the one DFlyer has requires spacers.

Just got my Edge today and I must say it's sweet. Props to the guys at Aero Model for great customer service. Worked me out a deal on some equipment. I can't wait to try the a60-6XS in the Edge...

+1, no more EF for me(no trimming needed), but on the GP I don't even fit anymore, just cut to the thick part, nice guide for a knife to.

KM's wagstaff extra is the best flying 3d plane to mimic any 3dhs plane in RF5.5. And even it doesn't behave as well in many situations as a real 3dhs plane......It took me a while to realize that the real planes are much better behaved than most of the sim planes....hard to believe...but true.
