if you arent getting what you want, i would just try longer arms first. are your EPA's maxed out as well as the D/R?

epa are near max, I'll fly it first to see, I can easily get loner arms, I don't think it will need a faster roll rate, just wondering about effectiveness in hover

Did you ever get a new motor box extension, or just "swiss cheese" the firewall?

yeah thats what i would do too. if all you are worried about is hover, dont worry too much, this airframe handles a big prop very nicely

Stock motor box is not drilled at all? or is it drilled/blind nut for Hacker?

Flies like a foamie!

here's a short video of me doing what I told myself I wouldn't do - put the plane at risk trying to hover on the deck and do some tail touches.

Flying isn't too graceful (especially when I stepped into a ground hog hole while walking towards it) but flying this thing really is like flying a foamie - it just floats along and doesn't do anything unexpected.

nice recovery after stepping in that hole, shadow of the person videoing you, is he holding some kind of a delta wing over his head to block the sun?

Yeah, I should of mentioned that - my friend has a Go-Pro mounted in the nose of his Zephyr and I was already flying when he landed so he just held his plane on his head and pointed it my way!

I'm getting two on.... Sorry, I would take a pic for you, but my desktop hard drive took a "schnitt" on me, and I have no photo editing software on my laptop. Fortunately, I have an external Seagate back-up drive, and will be able to put everything right onto a new drive as soon as I can contact Seagate...
