Nope....made a report last Wednesday that I had put three more flights on mine...see this post...I am flying mine with the batteries all the way to the firewall, and the CG is perfect (just a tiny bit of down elevator to fly inverted), without the lead it would be slightly tail heavy. Was headed out to the field to fly it some more, but it just started raining here...DRAT!! Was hoping to get some flights in before it did.

Yeah....I know.... rain has started and stopped about three times...very sporadic... And it's a little windy here, but very windy over in the Sacramento valley where Hon1er is...

Yeah the problem for our field is that it is right at the southern end of Silicon Valley, and as soon as the land mass starts warming up the wind goes through there. I really wish they had built the field someplace else, but in an area that is between two mountain ranges and really becoming crowded it is just something I have to deal with...

I would love 3-7 mph breezes....for us its; more, 8-20mph..

Thanks for all your help. I guess what I could do is wait and see how it balances with the gas engine before I try two in the tail.

That would be the best thing to do...otherwise you might end up having to patch the covering on the tail...

Single 985 elevator servo is good here...single 7955 is great! No dual servos required on the elev's till 50cc.

Mine has 5685MHs and I have no issues on a single elevator. I did 2 elevator servos in the 71 Slick gasser and it came out right on CG. Usually I do 5565MHs on my 30cc planes, but I kind of like the slower servos in this plane. Not sure why.

single hitec 5995tg in the tail for elv. 1 hitech 5995tg for rudder in pull pull position and a gt33 in front no worries about cg. can move cg from 4.75 -5.5 behind L.E. just by moving flight battery packs.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Just got back from a few quick flights this morning. Flight #74 for my OS GT 33, and flight #205 for my 74"edge.

I love how 3DHS did the hinges in the ailerons for me. I was about to glue them only to discover it was already done and the hinge line was sealed. Is this common for for 3dhs?
