You'd be surprised what you can fly over there if you just HUCK it!!!

Joe impressed a LOT of people with his electric 71 slick.....

I for SURE plan on dipping my 74...hopefully only just a little of it this time....

Exact ones I am using in my 71 Slick. Thanks for the suggestion robj. I too am not a big fan of purple but the arms themselves seem to be working out just fine. Plenty of throw.

You could strip the purple off of them and just have The aluminum look.

I've seen that plane here somewhere on RCG...little white spoilers do-dads on the leading edges to supposed to help it harrier or something. Sort of not attractive.

There was a good bit of discussion on those things in the EF threads. Vortex generators they are called.
They give more authority in post stall conditions. Better tumbling, smoother, higher alpha harriers. generally all around improved performance with no apparent downside. And even better there is pretty much no wrong way to install them is what I took from it... stick 'em on the first third of the wing before the spar.

full scale airplanes use them too. they are about that size as well lol. my understanding is they increase your effective airfoil at slow speeds and to a much lesser effect at high speeds. kinda like an inflight variable airfoil. personally i think you should just learn how to compensate for it how everybody else does rather than screw with a well designed plane to make it easier for you to fly..
