I would just add the weight to the nose and keep the simplicity of running the bec off the flight pack. im running the exact same setup but with the motrolfly 5320 and my packs are right against the firewall with no weight added. i am just slightly nose heavy at that point. my bec is in the canister tunnel at the very front too. i dont think you would have to add enough weight to justify having to plug in and charge two different packs. just my opinion though.

when I weighed my 5320(new) it was right at 20oz. I think that is 2 more than the hacker?? Over the hacker I still like my packs up more. Moving the rudder to a pull-pull would be pretty easy.

You could add a bat to power the receiver thru the BECpro. Would accomplish 2 things.
And you could make it Pull Pull.

It is currently a pull pull rudder. (single servo in the tail for elevator)
Will consider the other pack. I do like the forementioned simplicity of one pack tho. Joe running a separate pack for the rx?

Got mine on the build table. It's in impressively light fuse. I like all of the laser cut details that are new in this kit. The purpose made cutout window in the belly thats trimmed in balsa. The stealthily doubled up rudder servo location. The milled out carbon U channel mount for the landing gear (although this was probably forced for canister tunnel clearance). LG and tail wheel bolts already in the airframe. Pockets in the wingbags for the SFGs. Reinforcement on the wingbags in the velcro strip area where they used to tear.

3DHS just keeps incrementally improving the quality with every kit. Don't think we don't notice.
