Those are always the best days. Although it sucks when your wife expects smoked food and weather is really good but you have to babysit the smoker instead of flying. Speaking of flying it looks like I will get some evening edge hucking in

Ick you are getting all the rain we should. It was over 80 here in South Dakota today, wind was up all day, but it usually drops off a few hrs before dark.
You smoke with electric or wood? I use a masterbuilt electric (kinda looks like a dorm fridge). Nothing beats good brisket and ribs.

I am using the A60 6XS motor, on 6S, with a 20x10 prop and a Castle 100A ESC. I live at 5200+ feet of elevation and just did 3 flights on my Edge.

The motor was hot to the touch.

So, is it normal for a A60 motor to heat up to pretty hot with a 20x10 prop at such a high altitude? Should I still go to the 20x11?

Yes, Hackers run hot. I'm going to be putting some baffles in mine for the summer.

Seriously, u guys have a runway cam? I'm assuming you can just pull it up on the PC and see whats going on at any time? That is a great idea.

Absolutely!!

Two funny things about the Realflight version....when standing at the flightline..in real life there is highway 101 out in front of you, and there are lots of cars on it...in Realflight, there are none!! They did a ton of "photoshopping" to get rid of them....

And if you turn 180 degrees and look straight back towards the pit area, there is one of our "pet" ground squirrels with his/her head sticking out of the ground..
