Dear Bivens, there is only one word that comes to mind - Gorgeous!

Truly a beautiful plane, and a great build job.

I want to see some electric build. I'm curious as the firewall setup for electric, whether or not its the same as the 72" SC. Bring on the electric pics!

Ok so yall made me go tear into it. Couple pics. The front area is large, that's a 14" prop laying in it. The E-box just fits into the gas box. Some drilling/blind nuts I'm sure. Heck and I already got the long stand offs!! Everything else is just so darn cool.

Be nice to see these e stand offs for the extra to. My guess they will fit. Also looks like some holes in the firewall and cutting out the pipe sheating will need to be done for the e-edges, just like my Extra.

Wow nice pics; seems like adding the electric motor box will not be difficult at all. You are right - the front is very wide! Must be 10" wide at least! Of course that is a good thing - more room inside for fun stuff!

Maiden complete in wind and rain....video by Cmala.

Thank you Craig for taking me as a guest to your club, video, and your help.

This plane is VERY responsive, light, and powerful. I can't wait to fly it again. Glides nice too....

Ok, I don't have good video editing skills nor do I put much effort into it so don't hold that against me.

No music since I figured most people would want to hear the DLE-30 on the can.

It was windy, rainy, we were under a severe thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch but that wasn't enough to postpone the maiden.

Flying starts at 1:10

Bivens 74" Edge Maiden 11-16-2011 (2 min 50 sec)

Joe, I think Mike wins.

Nice!!! So what happened? Good save though. Nothing like a deadstick in gusty winds.

Easy to land.....very controllable with no bad habits and flies at a slo speed just fine...almost set it down in the big puddle at speed though.

Joe...
