Gary - had a great time at the fly in. Can you make them twice a year?

Here's the Extra on an inverted pass

I stuck my camera on my Slow Stick and got a shot of the field from around 500 feet. It's a little blurry since I have a little shaft wobble and didn't have a replacement at the field.

Akorn,
Just size them to around 40-50 kb and then use the browse button when you post a reply. It is just below the reply window. You can only do one file at a time.

Rob and Ed,
Thanks for the first pictures.

Absolutely amazing Rob. I am left speechless. And for those that know me...that is difficult . I hope someone got some video of your plane.

What a great weekend!

Hope that the guys in Melbourne decide to do more than one of these a year.... just TOO much fun.

(My little SP400/8c600s Peter Rake Predator found a lot of lift over on the north end of the field and I nearly tripled it's duration to 12minutes! Thanks guys!)

I would also like to I would say "thank you" to the Indian River Kontrol Society (IRKS) for hosting a wonderful event. The club members and volunteers did a great job of organizing the event. I was especially impressed by Dale Kai as the man behind the microphone. He did a spectacular job of calling the plays almost non-stop for the two days.

Besides having a great time, I had the pleasure of meeting quite a few folks for the first time:
Rob and Julie Honeycutt (I'm glad I was there to witness your contribution to e-aviation history)
Dale and Sue Kai
Ron Farkas
Ed Lyerly
Rob Mason
Jeff Myers (See ya at SEFF)
Chris True
Charlie Wang w/Thunder Power
Mike Weiss
Gary and Karen Wright (hope to see ya'll @ DEAF next October)
Chip with Hobby Hangar (tell'em to hurry up with that E-Dawg!)
ZB from Esprit Models
Plus the many others for which I'm so bad at remembering names.
Thank you all for the wonderful company.

Also another big "thank you" to all the sponsors that donated product for the hourly raffle held both days.
Esprit Models
Gary Wright Model Products
JRGC
Kool Flight Systems
Thunder Power
Hopefully someone will add to the list of those I've missed.

It was a great time with wonderful weather, and worth every bit of the 1320 mile drive. See ya again next year!

Terry,

Nice to meet you in person, too.

Everyone was so friendly. It was just a great event. Gary, Gerry, and Dale have the right formula for a fly-in.

Here we have Rob taking a tach measurement. Just a hair over 4000 rpm on a 30x18 prop if I'm not mistaken.

Great little sport plane called the E-Dawg. Soon to be available to us through Hobby Hangar . The red plane was powered by Gary Wright's winning Endo/GP GD600 system and the yellow one by a direct drive AXI.
