Cool pictures - looking forward to seeing it fly tomorrow at the BSoAZ, but hopefully not backwards in the prevailing wind. Hope the color scheme works in a sandstorm.

Well I got to fly the Polaris in seven of the eight rounds we flew at BSOAZ today. I flew my Twister 2 in the first round because I did not have any time on the new plane. Grabbed it in the second round and never looked back, man I must say this is a great flying plane. It ranges very well, we had some wind and with any other plane I have owned I would have put a little ballast in but not need with the Polaris. I really like the way it locks in when coming in and pulling flaps "Rock Steady". Dead air times are great best I have flown I have not timed it yet. Launch I don't know what to say other than DAMN, after the contest I let a few people launch it and all were very impressed, Jun had a comment "That was clean, I could not even hear it". After showcasing the launch at the end of the day we were all rubbing our arm to get the blood back in our hand. At this point it's my top pick to fly at Team Selects, but do feel that I need more time to get the feel for rudderless which by the end of the day started to work for me.

Kudos to the MM team for an amazing plane. From what I've seen so far today, the performance is very impressive. Love the black and white tuxedo theme.
The launch... All I can say is "Wow!" I don't think I've ever launched a plane that high in calm conditions.

And it has servo hatches!

Soar!

Don't tell anyone but we are now in preseries stage for moulded in servos for topdriven ailerons... soon available for the overseas customer. So before you know it, no more hatches...

Donnie flew it at dusk, and it was very visible against the almost-night sky. Looked like an armada of White Stripes flying synchronized turns.
