I have adopted the convention of referring to all presidents, past and present, with the title President and proper name. I think to do otherwise is a show of disrespect for the office.

I think you're right - I readily admit to using 'Dumya' and 'the idiot' but it is (and I'm serious here) rude and frankly, not very clever!

Whatever a President achieves, past or present doesn't warrant crass name tagging!
