weird motor fail solved!! obviously the eagle n6 doesn't like all of my esc's grounds hooked up except for one! Looks like the high current from a battery through the ESC wires was shifting the ground level of an ESC a bit in regards to the board! I think the ESC was receiving shift and noise from the pwm signal!! just a guess! but everything is working good now!!

I got the same exact problem on my Y6 copter too , i wonder how i can make the YAW more responsive too ?

I have the eagle board in a quad and in a tri. The quad can be made faster on yaw by going to aero mode and then use your TX to dull down the roll and pitch. Works well enough for me. I have noticed that after using eagle, HK clones and multiwii that they are the worst of the lot. Good and simple to set up but even a$15 hk board will be a better flyer.
If you wanta good yaw build a tricopter

Set some expo on yaw and maybe more then 100% sticks travel.

sure sounds like you are way too heavy. 4 minutes of flight is pretty poor anyway. where is your throttle stick at when you hover with and without fpv gear. what size props are uou using? you can use a bigger battery for longer flight times, but it sounds like you need to do something other than just change battery size.

Is there anywhere that there is updated firmware for the EAGLE N6 Multicopter Controller? The Hobbyking i86 Multi-Rotor Control Board looks to be the same as the eagle N6 Control Board. I also see the is there EAGLE N6 V2 Multicopter Controller.

The Hobbyking i86 Multi-Rotor Control Board have sold out already, over 100 + last night and now into the -15 "WOW" that was quick

Ah, well there you go - it's an Eagle N6 V1 clone.
The V2 seems to have an external crystal oscillator.
I wished HK had copied the V2...

How long before you have the board hacked and better code written for it happy ???

Is it worth trying to add a small 16Mhz crystal to the HK i86 board, or would the timing break?

Haha... Well I will get my boards any day now. Hopefully that switch bank has not used up something I need for the LCD or GUI interface..

On a traditional KK board the two oscillator pins were connected to the LED and RUDDER input (shrugs) but who knows how the I/O has been mapped for this board. It would sure help with GUI timing issues.
