I think you can get it going faster stock if you set the endpoints out all the way on the rx, you cant do that on the 270, but i gave mine more ff by shortening the elevator servo arm. its a tough call since there both very similar and the 270's part seem a lil more refined, minus the tx/rx.
270's tall main blade height is higher, coupled with the reversed battery position makes it turn better, the design is getting much better. Theres a notched gear holder on the shaft, its made of hollow aluminum and very light, the main gear is improved, lighter and straighter. , The frame is longer the tail motors wire leads are finished better, i really like the build on the 270... im just gonna put a 260 receiver on it to fly with my other 260's easier. oh and the tail fins so flexi and light and amazing

Do you think the 270 is worth $30 more? Is there a noticeable increase in flying capability?

Considering the lack of subtrims, gyro adjust etc, as it appears to be the case with the current evidence, I'm hoping the Solo Pro RX is a direct fit on the 270's frame. It looks like a promising heli, no more flybar strikes without modding the flybar first seems like a nice bonus, and it looks pretty sleek..

But moving the flybar down changes the head design, which is responsible for the way the Solo Pro flies. I wonder if we'll love the way the new one flies...or will it just fly similar to the Align T-rex 100 now.

Time will tell...but it's really interesting that NE released this heli instead of applying their flybarless technology garner from the SP 100 3D, into a FP to adequately compete with the mSR X.

I already have Solo Pro's 260a and 328a, and am not sure what exactly the 270 will add, (if anything)?

I am instead watching the 125 cp.

It's still a different design from the Trex 100, paddles instead of weights, and the linkages are differently connected. On the Trex 100 the mixer arms are on the flybar, with the 270 these are still on the blades.

I would have like to see a FBL version as well. On the other hand, it seems like the mSR x needs some fine tuning because of the way it was designed, perhaps NE was waiting to iron out the bugs? Hard to figure these guys out anyway. Sometimes they come with something brilliant, then make some weird move, like the TX incompatibility between planes, and even some helis...

When will Nine Eagles Solo Pro 270A parts be available?

------------------------------------------------------

So have to wait til mid Feb to try out the NE402270010A 270A swash. I also want to know how the 270A vs Bravo SX main motor compares.

Same here. 270 is too close to the 260 (and Bravo SX) to be of interest.

It does look nice, though...

I hate the look of the 270 Tx. I hate the 260a Tx just as much. One of the selling point for the V911 for me has been the slick-lokking Tx with the awesome backlight...
