thank you for the last tip to balance motor and props in once time. Now i have test firmware 1.9 and 3 blade GWS(balanced) and this are the results. With 1.7 and 2 blade props i also have hat problems with whobble in fast descending. But now is fine, the only thing with 1.9 was that the first ver. from 8.11 have a IC2 problem, and so 2 times 1 of the motor stopped in fly and i have broken 2 props. Now i have upload the version from 12.11 and i wait for new props and then i upload the results. Saluti

Hello
testing TMF pro on a small frame 27cm called Evil fly I used to fly with Aq50 but pro board is definitly more stable. Descent is very clean, no wobbling at all. Flew during 14 minutes (7minutes on vidéo) Filming while sun was getting down that made some nice shots. Definitly need to install some leds for much convenience ![]() cheers

board arrived today. 30 mins from saying goodbye to postman, i had a big smile on my face and my battle quad was up in the air, very stable, and very good response. Auto level is best i have used up to now.. It is not invasive and doesn't interrupt pilot stick input like fy91 does, and has a nice natural feel, unlike the multiwii autolevel that i have never liked (even if from first test 1.9 seems better).
No problem with rapid descents, just like in videos posted above by other users, i have never been able to come down that quickly without worries... wow... and all i had to do was lower a bit gain because in default it had oscillations... very very cool.. can't wait to do more tests tomorrow. now i have to celebrate...

is the hardware modification necessary for firmware update or can you just put new firmware ? i still don't understand what 6g mod is usefull for...
up to now i am very pleased with how the board works. Very simple to setup and pleasant to fly. Auto level is not invasive, even if you release stick quickly, it doesn't try to halt immediately, this is very useful for filming. |
