They weren't very social. They were just sitting in their cars with the windows open and talked to each other. I wanted them to come out and show interest. you know why? I wanted them to clock the Mosa's top speed with their laser gun... I am dying to know how fast she goes... Maybe next time.

Our guy did that. 109mph with a Hornet...most of the FMS warbirds were doing 70mph

The Formosa 1s have a 1-piece wing, and the Formosa 2s have a 2-piece wing.

EPS and EPO foam are fairly easy to distinguish from one another, especially if they're side-by-side. The EPO has a smoother finish, larger foam cells and the foam is much more dense.

I emailed GWS and yes, I have the latest version of the Formosa II. BTW, it does not come with GWS glue, but it does have a package of nylon hinges.

Does it say EPO on your box or instructions booklet? Mine did have the GWS glue in it and the plastic hinges (which I didn't use).

Here are pictures of the kit that I received. It is the latest version according to GWS. There is no mention of EPO anywhere or what glue to use. The manual still refers to using GWS glue. I included some pictures of my manual where GWS glue was lined out.

I'm going to use medium CA glue like all of the rest of my EPO airplanes.

wow wow wow. Something fishy is going on! I bought an old Formosa II kit then (even tough it was called EPO on LHS website)! I was very disappointed with the GWS foam (vs. the FMS foam). The FMS foam I am able to glue with CA and paint with regular HomeDepot rust oleum spray paint. Those things eat through the GWS foam like acid. No wonder I was disappointed with the GWS EPO foam. That is becuase it is not EPO! It is EPS! As soon as I saw your comparison of the foams Leabres I knew. On the left is what my FMS foam look like. On the right is what my current so-called "EPO" Mosa look like...
I do remember bringing it up in this thread when I first joined it and somehow will all concluded it is EPO. Obviously not!

Arnav,

Yours might have been the old EPS kit if your CA ate the foam, but EPS foam is lighter than EPO by 20%. THere'll be no longer EPS kit available according to GWS. So yours is one of the old stocks. It's much lighter though not as tough as the EPO one. The surface of EPO foam is a little shiny, while EPS foam is not shiny at all, I recall that I so posted earlier.

FMS EPO on top, Mosa 2 foam on the bottom....
A simple mistake? Kind of suspicious that two separate LHS in FL would mark and sell those kits wrong. Is the GWS distributor at fault here?
TheLeabres, will you be able to post what a new EPO sticker look like so that I can bring it into my LHS to explain them they are being given old kits and are told these are new kits?

Now the question is where can I get a real EPO Mosa2...
The odd thing is that even the Mosa 2 serial # on GWS US site seems to be the old one...

I got my kit from HeadsUpRC, a very good hobby shop. Cost was $50 plus $5 for shipping. Arrived via UPS with no damage.

Here is the end panel on my box. I didn't even notice it till I saw theleabres post. It does refer to EPO on the little bar code sticker.
