Well, since the thread says "aircraft' not 'airplanes', why not a scale-like (non-coax!) version of the H-21 Shawnee, aka "The Flying Banana":

Yep, specified "aircraft" on purpose, just because this tech can encompass a wide range of vehicles.
That Piasecki...lol...so ugly it's cute. The prototype had an elegant  airship-like cockpit...

A Cirrus Vision SF50 would be cool. Last year, I watched the first public flight at the Duluth airshow. It is uncannily quiet. An EDF version would even sound scale. Gotta have the flaps & UM retracts.

Luv'd the scale GeeBee landing...and I'm not even a GeeBee fan.
 The fact is that with the state of the art right now, the system needs to be tuned to specific airframes... kinda slows things down a bit... |
