They will work awesome in planes. It will certainly humble the first person that grabs a hold of the beast 3D does some amazing tricks and then tries it on a regular plane. I love these little micros and I am honestly hoping that one shows up under my Christmas tree. And seeing as how I have a small tree a plane would be fitting

I want to see it used in parkzone planes. Especially there warbird series which I noticed have a tendency to tip stall and the lightweight foam is tossed around in the wind. I would love to see parkzone come out with a larger as3x inspired plane. I think an affordable (thinking of habu which is way out of my price range for a park flyer) edf would be awesome as well. With this tech it's going to open doors to many unthinkable designs.

I'm hoping to see horizon come out with a 120 size cp helicopter, and a osprey.

The gear channel would be perfect for transforming into an airplane.

Shouldn't be too difficult, people are already doing it without the as3x tech, just think how much more reliable and stable it will be with the as3x. Shoot you can probably modify the 10-15 size retracts to transform, wouldn't be too far out of reach for them!

I've always lusted after the Ultimate 20-300...

Even though in the exact same category as the Beast 3D...wouldn't it be great to have an AS3X UMX version of this hot looking ship?

Power 15 and 40 amp pro esc! Check the for sale / wanted for my ultimate Love it but I want to get something else to fly without spending money, ya know?

Have not read this entire thread, so maybe it's been mentioned, but my pick would be to build a slightly larger t28 rendition. Big enough to get the wing loading about the same as original with the added weight of the 2 cell setup required. That might get me interested.

Fokker Triplane. I know the other guys are debuting one later this month, but I'm speculating it's going to be a horrible outdoor flyer without some sort of wind dampening system.

And on that note, allknown WWI biplane should at least get one run at being modelled as an Ultramicro AS3x plane. Maybe a series of models with one being put out once a month.

I want a UMX version of e-flights platinum edition Super Cub, complete with struts, flaps, lights, don't need the articulating landing gear thou but bush plane size wheels would do!
