I dunn know.....i think you get more speed out of the 6x4 since your motor sounds as though its hitting it max rpm. Im going to try the larger prop if I ever get around to flying in the winter.

I know! I did try once a bigger prop, but for some reason, it almost sound like it was loading the motor to much like it was bugging, I will have to plug my Eagletree to see.

An other quick clip of the Radjet:
Hobyking RADJET Jan 2012 (2 min 46 sec)

Ive had the maiden flight but not a speed run yet, Im hoping pass 150 kph.

143kph is my best so far with the old version of the fox.
That was my comment on your video :P

I have been looking on getting something that is fast and reliable.
( The fox is being pushed to 15 times or so its origional speed and I don't expect it to last long)

Was looking at This thing or a parkjet (Mini Skyfun) or the blue fiberglass pylon racer from HK.

do you guys think this one would be the best way to go ? I have a Turnigy 2836 2350kv that I was planning on running on 4s in it with a apc 5x5 prop
or I could put the 2836 3700 kv in it on 3s.

I don't know but the shaft will have to be move on the 2836. If you use this one it's 2200kv and it work on 4s and the shaft is the right way: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dproduct=12919

I already have the 2836 2350kv and 3700kv versions.
But that is a nice ( and very cheap ) Motor.

Its not hard to swap the shaft on the 2836 motors.
I did a step by step vid here:

Brushless Motor, Shaft / Pusher Conversion (5 min 47 sec)

Are you sure this motor can take 4s?
It only says 2-3s in the specs?

LOL who cares if it cant. Its only a $4 motor. If it blows up...upgrade to a $13 motor

Ive already had several flights with the stock motor on 4s 2200 and no problems

Vettster, are you sure the rcspeedo app is accurate? I'm curious about the radjet so that's how I came across this thread, but I clocked 269 km/h (167miles/h) on a skyfun this morning and just wanted to know if it's accurate. Have the turnigy 2350 powered by a 4S 2200 running a graupner 6.5x4 speed prop. Pulled 963 watts during ground testing. Graupner props rock! Very smooth props. Wouldn't the radjet be a bit of a flying brick on a 2350 with very little glide?

For my experience with RC Speedo, you do sometime get a bad pass, but most the time it's super accurate as I have a GPS(Eagletree) and most the time it is within 1mph accurate. What was the average passes on that particular flight?
