Hobbywing/Turnigy 180A ESC Issue
Hey guys, I have a new Hobbywing 180A ESC and there seems to be an issue. I am using a Leopard 5692 and, for testing purposes, a 4S lipo. Everything is new in the system. The issue is that when I plug in the battery, the esc either goes through it start up tunes, or quickly turns on, either way, it immediately goes to high throttle and does not respond to the transmitter. I have used a different transmitter to no avail. I have both the basic Boat Hobbywing ESC programmer as well as the advanced usb programmer, and have reset the settings, but I cant figure it out. Any ideas?

I think it's just throttle adjustment... Before connecting the battery on the ESC, put the Tx to full throttle. Connect power and, after the first beeps, get the throttle to neutral (if you use reverse or have a pistol Tx) or fully down on a stick type with no reverse. This should cure it.
