Nice video. Only problem was that I counted 6 Zephyrs at the end of the film.

New setup

I am new to fpv or flying airplanes all together but would like to build my first zephyr plane. I will be starting from scratch so basically i need all the equipment. Iwould like to start with the basic los flying but with an option to expand to fpv exquipment later on.
Can someone please suggest what motor/ servos, etc i sould buy?
I was thinking or getting turnigy 9x controller which can be reflashed. Is it any good, or should i consider something else.
I appriciate any input.
Should i just buy a premade set or "carve" the plane myself(i am quite handy)

Thanks

I'd highly recomend taking at least one step back and jumping in at the skywalker level. A zephyr is alot of plane, covers alot of ground and gets into trouble real fast.

Ditto on that, I started out on a zephyr II, and discovered that the hard way. If you absolutely must start on a wing, try a popwing/teksumo. You'll appreciate the low cost and relative indestructibly/ease of repair.

Nice! How did you get on with five/six fpv systems running? Limited to close range only? What were they all to make it work?
What was the blasphemous non zephyr pilot flying?

Did you build the battery box or buy it?

Well I maidened my Zephyr II today. Sadly it had an unanticipated run in with a tree. Should be an easy repair just very hard on the heart. What's the method to uncrumpling the Z's foam?
