Hey guys I flew into the clouds for the 1st time yesterday and it was awesome! But I'm wanting to change my setuf on my z2 from a 3s setup to maybe a 4 or 5s setup. I'm only able to fly for maybe 15-17 minutes on 2x 3300 3s packs what are you guys using? And what are your flight times? I'm trying to do some distance flights and I'm only getting 3 miles away before I'm having to turn around.

I'm using the riewing motor that the z2 comes with along with the esc that it comes with. If I just want to cruise it's pulling 30-35amps that seems really high or is that normal? I mean if I cruised at less than 800ft up and set my throttle to 35amp draw I would probably go farther but I like flying up really high. Yesterday I flew into the clouds about a like up and I was at about half pack just to get up there.

Performance question
So this is my set up from my Skywalker which will go into my new Z2.
Motor: OMA-3820-1200 http://www.osengines.com/motors/moto...ifications.pdf Servo: http://www.servocity.com/html/hs-645...ra_torque.html Prop: 10x5 or 10x6 (least Amps pull on 3s setup) ESC: http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...rodID=EFLA1060 Lipo: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...Lipo_Pack.html OSD: http://shop.fyetech.com/product_info...products_id=32 VTx: http://www.immersionrc.com/datasheet...05_09_2008.pdf Antenna set up (ground & air): http://www.truerc.net/canada/index.p...roducts_id=203 Cameras: Gopro and Securitycam2000 Sony WDR 600TVL (single board) Lipo set up will be 2 x Lipos giving me 1.2A capacity. Not sure what the AUW will be. Lipos alone are 333g each! So what kinda performance can I expect if I load up the Z2 with that lot? Mainly interested in flight times. Steve |

I'm thinking I need to calibrate my current sensor because my wot is 76A and I normally fly 5500mah out of my packs but my charger is only putting back in around 2200mah per pack so I'm really thinking my current sensor is just way off. Yesterday I dis a huge loop and I found out I can actually cruise at 12 amps and still go really far. My flight was 18 minutes but It could have been 25-30 but I cut it short because my fingers were freeeeezing. I'm still wanting to go to 4s setup I think though.

my zii has the scorpion motor, ice 75 and 10x6" prop. max amps is 68 @ 93mph, 50mph is 15-16 amps, 10 amps is around 40mph
not only the high amp readings, but the reading more mah than used is a dead giveaway to your problem |

I'm gong to run my wattmeter inline with my current sensor and see what my OSD says I'm using and what my watt meter on amp setting says. My guess is there way way off lmao
