Just out of curiosity, what inclined you to want to use the sticky on your more recent build?
I didn't use any stick between wing and lam on either of my builds... the lam sticks really nicely all the same. I've seen friends have a hard time handling the lam with spray adhesive applied.. leading to wrinkles n such. I know rite says to use the sticky.. but imho, if it ain't broke, don't stick it.

If you use a good gloss paint like rustoleum double coverage it seems that you dont need the sticky, I was doing it in the beginning due to the flat flouro paints and the dry dusty spackled areas that were having a hard time.
Lately we have found that the gloss is great when done in multiple lite coats, the lam sticks great to it. |

Quick question...
My Aeronaught folding prop doesn't seem to open out straight easily with a prop stopper on. I can push it a little and it does straighten up. My other folding prop uses Graupner blades and this doesn't happen. My question is do you think the centrifugal force will open the prop out all the way, or should I use a spacer between the hub and the prop stopper? |
