You should get the 5mil film and then put your colors on!

I didn't do the 5mil and I did add a couple pieces of CF in the kit!

Really I used two 450 helicopter blades spilt apart.

Two pieces went in the front section of the battery bays, standing vertical.
The other was layed in the battery bay.
I made them so when layed down horizontal across the battey bay.
This make the bay section a little stronger. But I think the next thing I did really strengthen the center section.

I layed vertically three 6 mm X 2mm CF flat rods.
One behind the radio try.
One in the middle of the radio and battey trays.
The last section i placed one is, In the front of the battery bay right behind the front wall.
I have seen this section buckle and start to flex.
I did a couple silly things I did on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th launch!
So I had to repair the damage.
May I say each one was like wot into the ground from 10 feet up!
So don't worry about the kit.
I flew mine prefectly with out any mods. Ask me if the mods made a difference?
Yes, which I would have never needed is I didn't donk it in 5 to 6 times.
Below is a two pictures of my ZII with the new Ride on Rail skids mounted and tested.
I made a couple extra and then mounted them on the wing. very easy mod to do. but you have to get the angle right.
It should be on the same angle and the wing tips!
Works perfectly!

guys, how does your z2 perform in wind?
i still have flutter at higher speeds and on windy days. just installed the tbs z2 bay but it did not help a lot
i also nearly have no flex on my wings. a bit on the middle part.
i have attached a picture how the spars are installed. this is on the bottom side.
on the top it is reinforced with the z2 tbs bay.
i think the problem is the weight in the middle section. there is a lot of force. if i would install the lipos further out. (like on the v1 zephyr) this would be a lot better.

are you guys getting better results ?
mb reinforce with glass fiber rods on the top also ?

I did not see any flutter in you video, I did see you over controlling it like you are flying with thumbs, I did see it really windy.
The plane was never left alone it was over controlled almost the whole flight.
Maybe fly it fpv.

Z2 generally has better low speed handling than that. (as a sidenote... I see that your servo is moving under the lam a bit as well - keep an eye on that).

Can you show a video of full left/neutral/then full right defletion (AILE) - also the same for ELE.

Also - how much does it weigh?

PS: Easy on the thumbs sir - too much input.

I also feel that you are trying to describe yaw wobble instead of flutter?

yes it was windy and the throws were pretty high. ill test it again in no winds.
would be nice to see someone else flying the z2 on a windy day. the problem is that we always have some wind here.

You will always have some rolling wind between mountains, but the ZII tracks awesome once dialed , and pilot is dialed

no if i fly fast i see it flutter. but yaw woble is also noticable. i think i can not get rid of that ? it is better in calm days.
