Very nice flying. I am envious of your flying area. Nice big open and relatively flat.

That is a very big satellite dish nearby. Do you get any interference flying in front of it?

Omm no I havnt gotten any interference. This area isn't normally where I fly it's just a good middle point for meeting up with my friends. Today I'm going to try my 1st FPV flight with my zephyr using Dragonlink also it will be my 1st flight using my 8dbi patch antenna and my new 1W vid tx and v antenna. I hope it goes well

Just finished my second ZII build. This time I used hot-glue for everything (used epoxy for the motor mount). I did a test with hot-glue (low temp) first and was not able to pry apart the foam pieces, so it seems to be up to the job. The nice thing is that when ironing on the laminate, the hot glue melts again and the seams become very smooth. Fought Gorilla glue mess on my first ZII. This one looks much cleaner.

Also built a plywood battery compartment inspired by TBS. Fits 2 4000mAh 3S Nanotech batteries side by side. The CG seems to be just about right once I add the GoPro.

Nice home made battery box. Looks similar to mine except for the opening between the bat bay and instrument bay.

Hoping someone here can help,

I am trying to to mount my hacker a30-10lv2 outboard this time around. I have ordered the backmount and have it setup, it appears the threads on the backmount are of smaller diameter than my graupner yoke etc...

From what I've read all the graupner spinners are 8mm in the middle of the yoke and i beleive the stock backmount for an a30-10L is 6mm.. Before you think I was lazy, I read on fpvlabs that you can use apc-e adapters, even stack a couple to make this work.. I just went through an 8x6, 8x3.8 and 11xsomething apc-e and there's only one that fits around the backmount adapter's shaft but then it is too big for my graupner yoke.. bleh so frustrating.

sorry to spam,

I couldn't use something like this right? http://www.gobrushless.com/shop/inde...ROP-ADAPTER6mm

because it would be clamping onto the threaded part of the backmount adapter's shaft and not go on straight.

i think this would work
http://www.hobby-lobby.com/1_4_prop_...r_756_prd1.htm

but it's not in stock =(.. should I go to my LHS and get a certain size APC-E prop that will have a bushing/adapter that i can use?

I'm currently building a Z2 (see pictures attached) and read more from my build log on my Blog: http://mjc70.blogspot.co.uk/

A friend has also built a Z2 recently and this is a video I took from our second outing with it. Watch out for more to follow soon!
