It used to be quite large village before war with 100+ houses, church, school, inn, sawmill and train station. Now it's only 3 houses, barrack for woodcutters, small bar for tourists and remnants of camping field.

Quick question to anyone else using the std folding prop.... is yours as rattly as mine? I've just checked out some keycam footage from my EZII and the prop is making a constant clattering like a terrified skeleton.....

I am running the standard prop with a 1200kv NTM PropDrive 28-26 motor mounted inside the tower.

The noise of the power train is distinctive but I am not sure that I would describe it as a clatter. I haven't noticed anything unusual in camera sound recordings although wind noise tends to mask things a lot.

After reading your comment I checked the play of the prop halves on their shafts and this is certainly more than I would have expected but no more than a couple of other HK folders that I have.

I used stock prop for maiden only as I wasn't happy with it's power output but I didn't notice any excessive noise.

Mine is not rattly. This is with KeyCam 808 #16:

MPX EasyStar 2 unedited. Highs @ 5:44 (Skywalker) and 7:33 ( ultra low pass) (9 min 59 sec)

Can you disable the 808-16's date/time stamp?

Yes, it's off topic, but you can do it

Make the camera write a config file to the memory card, wordpad edit a single character in the file, make the camera upload the edited file, and you're done. Takes 3 minutes. Procedure is well described in manual and in the dedicated Tom Franks' "The new 808 #16 keychain camera" thread

Maidened my ESII yesterday! It flew great!
I'm not very good at hand launching yet and had a close call. I was late on the up elevator after my toss. After that experience I programmed a mix to give me up elevator on a switch. Once in the air, I turn the mix off.

The gear:
Motor: Value Hobby E400 1200kv (perfect fit)
http://www.valuehobby.com/gforce-e400-2830-1200kv.html
Battery: GForce 3s 2200mAh
ESC: Castle Phoenix 25
BEC: Castle 10A
Servos: (4) Hitec HS-55's
Rx: Spektrum AR600

Performance was great. I'm getting about 150W. 12.5A full throttle. After 7 minutes I had 4.0v/cell so, flight times are great. Can't wait to get back out with this one.

I followed the whole thread and yet I don't seem to remember if the wings of the ES 1 will fit the fuselage of the ES 2..

Did anyone try this yet?

As both models use the same wing/wing section, it should be fairly easy to fit an EasyStar wing onto an an EasyStar II. The "notches" in the wing (front and rear) may need to be slightly modified.

But why would you want to put an EasyStar wing on an EasyStar II? For those wanting ailerons, an EasyStar II wing on an EasyStar would make more sense.
