Nice job. Mr Multplex

Well, I don't know how well the Easy* II flies in Germany but it sure flies very nicely down under.

Maidened mine today. Built it exactly stock (except for substituting a 3mm CF tube for the fuselage snake strengthener). Used the HK 1200kV motor I had on hand (see post 387) and a 20A Turnigy ESC with Hektronix 3A switched BEC and HK 939MG servos. Zippy 3S 2200 battery.

Set up the throws etc exactly as in the manual and the damn thing flew straight out like it was on rails. Couple of the club instructors (who are experienced glider pilots and both have Bixlers) were there and I made the mistake of handing them the Tx. Couldn't get it back.

i've built two Easy*s and a Bixler and I have to say this machine (even at twice the price of the HK "equivalent") is worth very cent.

Apart from the fabulous flying characteristics, it is just a pleasure to build something where everything fits and there is no modding or fixing required.

This is one very well balanced and executed design. I can see why Jürgen is smitten.

Desperation kicked in and I ordered my EZ2 from this site.

Total was 220US... But I could just not wait!
Took me a while to find anyplace that had stock , and I could order from. You would think Multiplex would at least post a release date.

Cool! Let us know how that works out for you. Looking forward to the review.

I should email Tower and ask them when they will be getting the EZ * II in for sale.

And I should say it is about time the EZ *s came stock with a brushless motor.

Did you get a delivery date? I guess this means you will be the very first person in the US to have an EZ*II?

Hey Spooks...
You did a good thing getting it from them... Excessively reliable store, and in the UK, they even tell you which hour of the day your delivery is coming, by Text messege that morning.

I've spent a small fortune with them, and recently got my 2 EZ*2's from them..

Hey Rich, which carrier do they use? I just want to know how far I'm going to have to travel when they try to deliver when I'm out.......

In Europe, the ES II is actually cheaper than the Bixler or the AXN floater... Yup, one would be crazy not going for the ES II or the Graupner Rookie.

Looking forward to some photos and more member reviews.

I emailed Tower to see when they will be getting the EZ* II in for sale. I'll let you know what they say.

Tower Hobbies customer service was zero help. They just blew me off. Hrad to believe that since I am a member of their super saver club and have been shopping with them for years. Guess I'll find somewhere else to buy my RC goodies from.

Anyway, I called Multiplex and they said the EZ*II should be avialable for purchse in two to three weeks from your LHS or online vendor.

So there we go, I'm gonna see if Horizon Hobby can pre-order one for me.
